Zhurnal Vsesoiuznogo Khimicheskogo Obshchestva Im. D. I. Mendeleeva

(Journal of the D. I. Mendeleev All-Union Chemistry Society), the scientific and technical journal of the D. I. Mendeleev All-Union Chemistry Society. It has been published in Moscow since 1956; there are six issues a year. Each issue is devoted to a single area of chemical science or the chemical industry and related areas. Survey articles covering Soviet and foreign publications deal with the contemporary state, progress, and trends in further development of important scientific or industrial problems; reports on the most significant experimental studies of members of the All- Union Chemistry Society and information about meetings, conferences, and activities of the society are also published. Circulation varies depending on the topical content of the various issues.
