Zinnowitz

a climatic sea resort in the German Democratic Republic, on the northern shore of Usedom Island, in the Pomeranian Bay of the Baltic Sea (Neubrandenburg District).

Zinnowitz has a mild sea climate, with an average summer temperature of 15°–20°C. There is climatotherapy and, from mid-June to mid-September, sea bathing. Nontuberculous respiratory diseases and functional disorders of the nervous system are treated. Zinnowitz has sanatoriums for adults and children and a house of rest.
