Zolotukhino

an urban-type settlement, administrative center of Zolotukhino Raion, Kursk Oblast, RSFSR. Situated on the Snova River (Desna basin), with a railroad station on the Kursk-Orel line, 40 km north of the city of Kursk. A canning and vegetable-drying plant, a creamery, a meat and poultry combine, a cotton-wool factory, a fattening sovkhoz, and an incubator station are located in Zolotukhino.
