Zusha

 

a river flowing predominantly in Orel Oblast, RSFSR; a right tributary of the Oka. Length, 234 km; basin area, 6,950 sq km. Its course lies within the Central Russian Upland. Rapids are found near the city of NovosiF. The river is fed principally by snow. Its average rate of flow is 28 cu m per sec (at the city of Mtsensk). It freezes in early December and opens up in late March. The Neruch’ River is a large tributary (left) of the Zusha. It is navigable from Mtsensk.
