A concise statement of the expected meteorological conditions at an aerodrome during a specified period. It includes forecasts of surface wind, visibility, weather, and clouds and expected significant changes to one or more of these elements during the period. Meteorological offices preparing aerodrome forecasts continuously review them and, when necessary, issue amendments promptly. They try to minimize the length of the forecast messages and the number of changes to them.
