Aeron
Aeron an antiemetic; tablets containing camphoric acid salts of the alkaloids scopolamine and hyoscyamine. It is prescribed for airsickness and seasickness, emesis in pregnancy, and so on. Aeron begins to act 30 minutes to one hour after it is taken, and its action lasts six to 12 hours. One must not take more than two tablets at a time or more than four tablets in 24 hours. It is contraindicated in glaucoma. |
