Man himself is also a participant in the biocomplex. The following must be provided for in the formation of a biocomplex: the biological compatibility of the living beings that enter into it, satisfaction of the needs of man and others as regards food and water and the creation of an atmosphere of acceptable composition; compatible metabolism; satisfaction of the requirements of individual participants in the biocomplex concerning habitat and also technical means of ensuring normal life processes; and stable and reliable functioning under any possible changes in external environmental factors during the space flight.
