Bargushatskii Range

eastern branch of the Zangezur Range in the Armenian SSR. The height goes to 3,399 m (Mount Aramazd). The range is composed largely of an igneous sedimentary layer with intrusions of granite and granite diorites. The slopes are covered with oak-hornbeam and oak forests; in the highest areas, by subalpine and alpine meadows.
