Substance abuseTemposil—An agent which inhibits the breakdown of acetaldehyde. It has been used in conjunction with disulfiram to keep alcoholics from falling back into alcohol use/abuse.
Adverse effects
Headache, nausea, vertigo, sweating, dyspnoea, tachycardia, rash.
Toxicology
—A black-grey powder used in agriculture as a fertiliser, herbicide, pesticide and cotton-defoliant weed killer, which, in high concentrations, has antithyroid activity.
