Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park
Location:West of Byrdstown, on State Route 325, near the Kentucky border.
Facilities:Activity center, historic site, museum, picnic area.
Special Features:Hull served as Secretary of State under President Franklin D. Roosevelt between 1933 and 1944. In 1945, he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace. Park consists of a representation of Hull's log cabin birthplace and museum with documents and artifacts, including his Nobel Peace Prize.
