Location:On SC 642, 4 miles south of Summerville.

Special Features:This historic park is the site of a colonial village founded in 1697 and includes the brick bell tower of St. George's Anglican Church and a fort made of oyster-shell concrete. A small outdoor kiosk explains the history of Dorchester and the upper Ashley River area. Park visitors can observe on-going archeological excavations of the village.
