Management-medical Change lifestyle—e.g., raise head of bed, reduce bedtime snacks, reduce fatty foods, smoking cessation, reduce alcohol, use of antacids or alginic acid; histamine-receptor blockers—e.g., cimetidine, ranitidine, omeprazole.
Management-surgical Nissen fundoplication (which is widely preferred), Hill gastropexy, Belsey fundoplication
