Several historical re-enactments can include such incidents as an invasion of Hampton Harbor by pirates seeking revenge for Blackbeard's death and a duel between pirates fighting with pistol and cutlass. Visitors can watch demonstrations of 18th-century crafts, navigation, cooking, and medicine at living history exhibits. The event also features a Grand Pirates Ball for adults, and a Saturday night fireworks display.
