Cycas
Cycas a genus of gymnosperms of the class Cycadopsida. There are about 20 species, distributed from Madagascar and the Comoro Islands to South and Southeast Asia, Australia, and Polynesia. Two species from Southeast Asia are particularly well known: C. circinalis and C. revoluta. Both species are cultivated in the USSR as ornamentals on the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus.
