Location:3 miles off the coast of Harpswell.
Facilities:Historic home and gardens, picnic area, pier, trails. Contact the MaineBureau of Parks and Recreation for information concerning boats forhire providing transportation to the island. Open June 15-Labor Day.
Activities:Tours.
Special Features:Purchased in 1881 for $200, Eagle Island was the summer home of North Pole explorer, Admiral Robert Peary.
