Special Features:Located astride the Eastern Continental Divide at an altitude of 3,640feet, Black Rock Mountain is the highest state park in Georgia.Numerous scenic overlooks offer spectacular 80-mile views of thesouthern Appalachians. The park is named for its sheer cliffs ofdark-colored biotite gneiss.
