Ekhor

a Buriat folk round dance. A group of dancers, holding hands, rocking, and singing, moves around in a circle with slow steps. At the refrain, the movement quickens and the steps give way to skips. The music is in 2/4 time. In different raions of the Buriat ASSR, there are different versions of the melody and choreography.
