Cherdakly

an urban-type settlement and administrative center of Cherdakly Raion, Ul’ianovsk Oblast, RSFSR. Cherdakly has a railroad station on the Ul’ianovsk-Ufa line, 35 km east of Ul’ianovsk. The city has a meat-packing plant, a distillery, a butter factory, a mixed-feed plant, and a grain elevator.
