Fermentnaia I Spirtovaia Promyshlennost

(Fermentation and Alcohol Industry), a scientific, technological, and industrial journal published eight times a year by the Ministry of the Food Industry of the USSR and the central administrative board of the scientific and technological society of the food industry. The journal has been published in Moscow since 1924; from 1953 to 1963 it was called Spirtovaia promyshlennost’ (Alcohol Industry). The journal deals with advances in the science and technology of the production of alcohol, beer, nonalcoholic beverages, and liqueurs and spirits. It also discusses advances in the fermentation and acetone-butyl alcohol industries and the experiences of leading enterprises. Circulation, 4,600 (1975).
