Cheselden’s operation
One of several surgical procedures described by William Cheselden (1688–1752):(1) Pupil enlargement with a linear cut in the iris, for certain types of blindness;
(2) Lithotomy—lateral operation for the stone, an oblique lateral incision which ran backwards and parallel to the ramus of the left ischium.
