Comet Seeker

a small telescope used to search for and visually observe faint comets. Comet seekers are characterized by a large field of view and small magnification, and the exit pupil is equal in size to the pupil of the eye under night conditions. This guarantees a minimal diminishment of the surface brightness of extended objects.
