Chichikleia

a river in Odessa and Nikolaev oblasts, Ukrainian SSR; a right tributary of the Iuzhnyi Bug. The Chichikleia is 156 km long and drains an area of 2,120 sq km. It is fed by snow. High water occurs between late February and early April. The mean flow rate 46 km from the mouth is 1.9 cu m per sec, and the maximum flow rate is 318 cu m per sec. The Chichikleia dries up for seven or eight months a year. There is ice on the Chichikleia from November through February.
