Location:5 miles west of Yankton off SD 52.
Facilities:146 modern campsites (144 with electricity, 2 @di), 10 cabins (é), picnic shelter, picnic areas, boat ramps, fish cleaning station, game courts, playground.
Activities:Camping, boating, fishing, biking, hiking, cross-country skiing, bird watching.
Special Features:Park was named for Chief White Crane, who met with Lewis and Clark in this area in 1804. The park's large cottonwood trees provide shade for campers as well as a place for bald eagles to roost in winter.
