The schedule according to which various publicly-traded companies announce their earnings for a certain period such as a quarter or a year. The earnings calendar organizes these announcements by date and company. For example, it may provide an alphabetical listing of all companies making earnings announcements on a certain date in October, also indicating the time and manner of the announcement. Earnings calendars exist for investor convenience.
