Exhaust Fan, Boiler

a centrifugal (one-way or two-way intake) or axial (one- or two-stage) fan, mounted behind a boiler unit for removal of gaseous products of fuel combustion. Boiler exhaust fans have blades built up with hard alloys for protection against the abrasive impact of ashes. The capacity of centrifugal boiler exhaust fans is from 8,000 to 700,000 cu m/hr. Axial boiler exhaust fans are manufactured with capacities up to 1 million cu m/hr. There are designs for axial boiler exhaust fans with capacities up to 1,650,000 m/hr.
