Born Apr. 22, 1892. Belgian public figure. Teacher of history and literature by profession.
Blum was a member of the Belgian Socialist Party from 1918 to 1951. In 1951 she was expelled from the party for participating in the Second World Congress of Champions of Peace. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Belgian Alliance in Defense of Peace. Blum has been a member of the World Peace Council since 1951; she served as its president and coordinator between 1965 and 1969. Blum was awarded the International Lenin Prize for Strengthening Peace Between Nations (1953).
