Derevenskii Kommunist

 

(The Village Communist), a political magazine of the Central Committee of the ACP (Bolshevik) for the active village members of the party. It was published in Moscow from Dec. 1, 1924, to August 1930 and appeared twice a month. The magazine printed articles on Communist Party policy pertaining to the village and on the work of the party organization in the countryside. In August 1930, Derevenskii kommunist merged with the magazine Sputnik agitatora (the version intended for the countryside).
