dermatobiasis

(dĕr″mă-tō-bī′ă-sĭs) Infestation by the larvae of Dermatobia hominis, the eggs of which are carried to the skin by mosquitoes. The larvae then hatch and bore into the skin while the mosquito feeds. Marblelike boils form at the site of infestation.
