(dĕr″mă-tō-spă-răk′sĭs) [″ + Gr. sparassein, to tear] Loose, sagging, fragile, and easily bruised skin. When it is caused by a deficiency of procollagen I, it is responsible for a rare variant of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
