Exner, John E. (Jr.)

(1928– ) psychologist; born in Syracuse, N.Y. A Cornell University Ph.D. in clinical psychology, he taught psychology at, among other institutions, Long Island University (1969–84). He directed the Rorschach Workshops, Asheville, N.C. (1969). His Rorschach (1978, later revised) established standard postulates for use in interpreting the widely used Rorschach test.
