endomembrane

Any cell membrane (e.g., of the nuclear envelope, the endoplasmic reticulum, the Golgi apparatus, lysosomes, vacuoles, vesicles, endosomes) involved in transporting protein, lipids and other material in eukaryotic cells. Endomembranes do not include membranes of mitochondria and chloroplasts.
