Dalmatia, Croatia, and Slavonia, Kingdom of

from the second half of the 16th century to 1918, the official name of the main group of Croatian lands included in the Hapsburg Empire. The name was retained until the establishment of the Kingdom of the Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes in 1918.
