Dalzha

Dal’zha

 

(Dal’dzi), a freshwater lake in Khabarovsk Krai, RSFSR. Area, 60.9 sq km. The lake has an elongated form, stretching from the northeast to the southwest. Its waters flow out through Lake Dalgan into the lower reaches of the Amgun’ River. The Kalpakor, Dzhuk, and other rivers flow into it. The shores are deeply indented: in the western part they are mountainous and covered with forest, and in the southeast they are swampy. The lake is navigable for small vessels and supports commercial fishing.
