Location:Next to Splitrock Reservoir, Rockaway Township, Morris County. TakeRoute 287 to Route 23 to Green Pond Road in Newfoundland. Turn leftonto Upper Hibernia Road, then left onto Split Rock Road and follow itacross Splitrock Reservoir Dam to parking area on left.
Facilities:Undeveloped.
Activities:Hiking, birdwatching, fishing (from boats only; no shoreline fishingpermitted), ice fishing, hunting, cartop boat launching (no gas motorspermitted), cross-country skiing.
Special Features:Park is a forested wilderness of watershed lands crossed by an oldlogging road. Trail entry is through the Farny Natural Area. Split RockReservoir is adjacent to the park.
