Faroese Krona Faroese KronaThe currency of the Faroe Islands. It is the same currency as the Danish krone in that both are issued by the same central bank and are identical on international exchange markets. Additionally, banks exchange them without charge on a one-to-one ratio. However, Danish krone are not legal tender in the Faroe Islands (though generally they are accepted), and Faroese kronur generally are not accepted in Denmark. |
