Bobrov's Apparatus
Bobrov’s Apparatus
a medical device for subcutaneous injection of a large quantity of fluid—glucose or physiologic saline, for example—proposed by A. A. Bobrov.
The apparatus consists of a graduated glass vessel with a firm rubber stopper through which two glass tubes are passed. The external end of one of them is connected to a needle, while the other is joined to a bulb for pumping air into the vessel. The apparatus is sterilized before use.
