Bogdanovka

an urban-type settlement, the administrative center of Bogdanovka Raion, in the south of Georgian SSR. Located 95 km southeast of the Akhaltsikhe railroad station and on the Akhaltsikhe-Leninakan highway. Population, 2,800 (1970). There is a butter and cheese factory and a garment factory. Construction began on a machine shop in 1970.
