Chlorocholine Chloride

(CH₃)₃N⁺CH₂CH₆ClCl^–, a chemical preparation used for spraying a number of plants during the growing season: to prevent the lodging of wheat on excessively moist soils (4–6 kg of chlorocholine chloride per 1 hectare) and to retard the development of axillary buds in strawberries and apple trees, which results in higher crop yield. Chlorocholine chloride has low toxicity.
