Farson, Negley

(1890–1960) journalist; born in Plainfield, N.J. An intrepid adventurer, he reported from Western Europe, the Soviet Union, Egypt, and India for the Chicago Daily News (1924–35), in a vivid, unanalytical style. His memoirs were a 1936 best-seller. He spent his declining years in England.
