Bolshaia Vys

a river in the Ukrainian SSR, a left tributary of the Siniukha (Southern Bug basin). The Bol’shaia Vys’ is 166 km long, drains a basin of 2,860 sq km, and flows through the Dnieper highland, supplying six reservoirs. It is fed primarily by snow. The city of Novomirgorod is located on the river.
