Bolshoe and Maloe Basinskoe

bitter salt lakes in Astrakhan’ Oblast, RSFSR. Located on the right bank of the Volga delta. The area of Bol’shoe Basinskoe Lake is 0.7 sq km; the area of Maloe Basinskoe Lake is 0.3 sq km. There is a layer of common salt on the bottom of the lakes.
