Bolshoi Pit
Bol’shoi Pit
a river in Krasnoiarsk Krai, in the RSFSR; a right tributary of the Enisei. It is 415 km long and has a basin of about 21,700 sq km. It has its source and flows within the Enisei ridge. It is fed primarily by snow, with a significant amount of rain. It freezes over in mid-November and opens up again in mid-May. Logs can be floated down the river and it is navigable for ships up to the Brianka pier.
