Location:7 miles east of Redfield off US 212.
Facilities:28 modern campsites (22 with electrical hookups), picnic areas, picnic shelter, hiking trails, boat launch, historic site, playground, warming house.
Activities:Camping, boating, canoeing, fishing, hiking, interpretive program.
Special Features:Park is named after Frank I. Fisher, the first permanent European settler in the county, who lived at this site. The Watertown-to-Pierre stage line crossed the river here on American Indians' traditional rock river crossing, and a hotel for tourists was located at the site.
