Eneev, Timur Magometovich

 

Born Sept. 23, 1924, in Groznyi. Soviet specialist in mechanics and control processes. Corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (1968). Member of the CPSU since 1957.

Eneev graduated from Moscow State University in 1948. From 1950 to 1953 he worked as a research worker at the V. A. Steklov Institute of Mathematics. In 1953 he became a senior research worker at the Institute of Applied Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. Eneev’s main works deal with the dynamics and flight control of spacecraft and the application of celestial mechanics to problems in cosmogony.

Eneev, a recipient of the Lenin Prize (1957), has been awarded the Order of Lenin and the Order of the Red Banner of Labor.
