A type of biofeedback therapy in which the electrical activity of the muscles is monitored by the patient with an electromyograph. Electromyograph feedback training is used to induce relaxation, treat anxiety, bruxism, phobias, neck and back pain, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, tension headaches, cerebral palsy, and to rehabilitate neuromuscular injuries.
