areolar glands
a·re·o·lar glands [TA] a number of larger sebaceous glands forming small rounded projections (that is, areolar tubercles) from the surface of the areola of the breast; they enlarge during pregnancy and during lactation secrete a substance presumed to provide resistance to chapping.
