Boro-Tala

Boro-Tala

 

a river in China, in western Dzhungaria. It is 250 km long and flows between the Dzhungaria Alatau Range on the north and the Borokhoro Range and its spurs on the south. The river flows into Lake Ebi-Nur. The lower reaches of the river sometimes dry up. The river channel is extremely winding, and its width at the lower course is 100–150 m. There are extended spring high waters and summer rain floods. The lower part of the river is used for irrigation and water supply.
