Borovo

a city in Yugoslavia, located in eastern Croatia, on the right bank of the Danube River. Population, 6,000 (1967). The country’s largest rubber and shoe combine, Borovo, is located there and employs about 13,000 people. The annual production of this enterprise is about 17 million pairs of shoes, as well as automobile tires and other products.
