Borzhomi Gorge
Borzhomi Gorge
a gorge in the Kura River valley in the Caucasus, Georgian SSR. It divides the Meskhet and Trialet ranges of the Lesser Caucasus. The gorge is approximately 60 km long and from 1,300 to 1,500 m deep. Broad-leaved and coniferous forests grow on its slopes. The town of Borzhomi is located in the gorge.
