Location:5 miles north of Saint Helena and 4 miles south of Calistoga on Highway 29/128.
Facilities:Developed family campsites, developed group camp,hike/bike campsites, picnic areas, trails, swimming pool (open summeronly), horseback riding concession (summer and fall), visitor center, exhibits (é).
Activities:Camping, hiking, bicycling, swimming, horseback riding, picnicking, wildlife viewing,interpretive programs.
Special Features:Park is located in the heart of Napa Valley wine country, with trailsthat go through stands of coastal redwoods as well as forests ofDouglas-fir, tanoak, and madrone. The area was home to the WappoIndians until the 1840s, and a Native American Garden near the visitorcenter displays some of the plants that were important to the people ofthis area. A Pioneer Cemetery is located near the day use/picnic area.
